Islam as largest relegion:
In the next half century or so, Christianity’s long reign as the world’s largest religion may come to an end, according to a just-released report that builds on Pew Research Center’s original population growth projections for religious groups. Indeed, Muslims will grow more than twice as fast as the overall world population between 2015 and 2060 and, in the second half of this century, will likely surpass Christians as the world’s largest religious group. The number of babies born to Muslims is expected to overtake those born to Christians within two decades, making Islam the world’s largest religion by 2075, according to new analysis of data by the Pew Research Center.People with no religious affiliation are set to shrink as a proportion of the world’s population as a result of their declining birthrate and growing numbers of Muslims and Christians. The analysis points to modest but significant demographic shifts in religious affiliation over the coming decades, as populations in the global south continue to grow rapidly and Christian populations in Europe age and die. Between 2010 and 2015, an estimated 31% of babies born in the world were to Muslim parents, far exceeding the 24% share of the world’s population held by Muslims. In the same period, 33% of the world’s babies were born to Christians, only slightly higher than their 31% share of the global population. The Guardian
The Promise Of God:
Now who could've thought 1400 years ago that Islam will be victorious and prevail over all other relegions.
In Quran Allah says : Ayah al-Fath (Victory, Conquest) 48:28.
He is the One Who has sent His Messenger with ˹right˺ guidance and the religion of truth, making it prevail over all others. And sufficient is Allah as a Witness. It is He who sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of Truth, to prevail over all religions.
And in Quran 9:33 Allah says:
He is the One Who has sent His Messenger with ˹true˺ guidance and the religion of truth, making it prevail over all others, even to the dismay of the polytheists.
That's a profound statement. The idea that Islam would spread and become a major world religion, as predicted in the Quran, is indeed a remarkable prophecy. It's true that no human could have foreseen the rapid growth and expansion of Islam 1400 years ago, especially given the circumstances of its birth in 7th century Arabia. The Quran's own assertion that it is the word of God, and its predictions about the future, are a testament to its divine origin. The fact that many of these predictions have come to pass is a powerful argument for the truth of Islam.
As we said, who could have imagined that a small group of believers in a remote desert region would go on to shape the course of human history and establish a global community of millions of followers? Only God, in His infinite wisdom and knowledge, could have foreseen and ordained such an outcome.
