Herbs Cucumber Garlic lentils and onions represent five senses in Quran

 

Did you know Surah Baqara, verse 61, Allah swt mentions the 5 vegetables together namely herbs, cucumbers, garlic, lentils and onions - scientific evidence and discovery that it represents 5 senses and they relate to human body which have similar physical representation to human body parts too both internal and external. Also mentions the great benefits of these to human functioning.

According to Science, the doctrine of "Signatures Theory" believes that plants that resemble human body parts have beneficial effects on those parts. In the Holy Quran, Allah Almighty uses allegories to explain variouss Sciences. Recent Scientific studies have shown that the five plants mentioned. in verse 61 of Sūrah Al-Baqarah (The Cow), leek, cucumber, garlic,

Lentils, and onions are similar to the microscopic view of five sensory receptors related to the sense of sight, sense of hearing, sense of smell, sense of touch and sense of taste, respectively.
